I'll be honest.
As for me, there are a lot of sounds that drown out each other, and because of this, the melody itself is not clear. The only thing that can be heard well is the drum part, which is performed perfectly.
But it seems to me that you just forgot about the volume balance.

There are a lot of melodic elements that stay in the background such as the strings and the cassete roads instrument panning around while the piano chords and trumpet stay in the front of the mix. I'd argue its less unclear during the drums as i have a flute going on there, hence why i left it in the break after the drums, but thanks for the feedback!

ohno! i will have to check it out later tonight! i have a wonky reverb filter on the upright and e-piano which sometimes betrays me with an inadvertent panning manifested somewhere in the course of compression. thanks!
